Let us suggest the way forward when TMI is on stream and set to startup the rural poor.

1……Realistically in a village setting of 300 only 30 would be interested enough to fully engage (this is different than saying all would like to try out the system )…..even 10 would be sufficient…They in practice form the local” mastermind “group to encourage one another.
2….10 would be sufficient because the ultimate selling is to western markets….this means if , initially, revenue is only £100 per month – rupees 11,000( a low figure by western standards ) by local standards it will make a difference ,and as the revenue increases it would have a cascading effect…
3.A realistic way to start the first pilot project would be for an experienced student to help
by leading the, “on the fly” workshops ..using the enterprise education work sheets supplied online from TMI ….this until the local mastermind group takes over the project with the responsibility to extend the involvement to as many as possible….
4.. The use of internet enabled mobiles / or the £100 computers/ or initially just mobiles
would be sufficient technology to start the project………..more on using mobiles alone in a future blog…….

THE RICH GIVES THE POOR THE MEANS TO GENERATE WEALTH …… There will be a
first application in Pakistan where we are starting a pilot project centered in Mian Channu;
the office will be open January 2008, with launch date April.

.. free eco enterprise education..$43 trillion investment money is now available for sustainable businesses…as public opinion and the “greening”of political parties , is starting a trend that will accelerate.

This means there is now the realistic possibility of slowing the rush from the country to the cities….as the means and connection to global markets can be realised via the internet…
We simply need now the strategies and administrative protocols… this is our current concern
as well as the need from this generation of graduates to be as concerned for the careers of the poor …as their own..and a decision to support projects that can bring this about.

The future of the poor is much more tied up with the future of the rich then perhaps all of us
realise……

Every startup starts with a dream idea..mine is to build a huge educational platform for the benefit of the poorest people on the planet..my first idea was to put up a website entitled………..
“Rubbish tip people.”.Inspired by a picture of a small child on a huge rubbish hill….her work was to find rags as a” product”to sell for food for the day….no rags..no food.

On the face of it my dream is impossible..make money and give it to the poor..that’s the way to help..?.Many charities do this ….. but there are still more poor today than at any time in history..
The answer must be to give the poor the means to generate wealth themselves..but how can this be done? What have the poor got that has sufficent value the rich markets would want?

Then it hit me …….They have the same ability to think ..come up with ideas as anyone else……..
What they don’t have is a means of realising those ideas…..nothing to enable them to understand ideas can be realised if the way is known and encouragement is given…

Realistically though you cannot expect an immediate breakthough without a focal point and the presentation of the means……….this brings us to.. testmyidea.com …This is my testbed for the dream………… It offers ..free webspace to anyone rich or poor….free information..in the form of reports and work manuals the free starter is already online…

Now comes the most difficult part how to start it” running”with the potential to help the poor
Keep in mind the poor cannot afford to pay anything to start….they may be miles from internet access and even if available they may only have a vague idea how to use their assets…
There has to be a go between…a mentor from somewhere….will these vital links appear?
This currently is the biggest problem to overcome….i am trying to find these starters at colleges and universities in Pakistan…. To get these involved in the project they will need incentives..?
